Just finished watching this now…I liked the fun and loving relationship between 2 main leads. They played their roles very well. Enjoyed many of the different characters… the ghost staff, deities, the moon tree, the beautiful hotel. What I found myself disappointed in was the lack of closure and the confession of love between the girl lead and the Queen’s captain who loved her, but is forced to kill her friends but keeps her alive, and then sacrifices everything for her including his life, and living as a firefly-ghost watching her from a distance for 1300 years!?
When she finds out, there should have been something more than and understanding of forgiveness with no expression in words and walking with him to heaven holding hands only to let go and return. I felt bad for him losing everything.
I thought maybe the main male lead could have gone back in time and changed the story for all 3 of her male love interests.
The story was a bit draggy but lots of creative imaginative story telling… the serial killer was creepier than the ghosts.
