The show has become nothing more than a marketing device for Disney: Disney movies, Disney characters, Disney theme parks, Disney resorts.
Also, the show seems to feature the same "news" (quite often biased) day after day after day, with no change in dialogue. There's more going on in the world (Ukraine excepted) than just bad weather in the U.S.
