i wouldn't call it a romantic fiction because it has no fictional people in it . It is only about man and woman and what men might think about relationships through history and what women think about relationships through history. . It is more about the biology of the emotion of love . Because of the era that it was written it can be humorous at times but when one looks at their own feelings you can see fact in some of it also. I enjoyed reading it.
