Joker 2 while retaining much of the the tenor and tone of it's predecessor fails to impresss the larger section of fans with dragging scenes and an overlong runtime. Some of It's dialogue leaves much to be deserved. Joker is a symbol, a voice against societal alienation and systemic tyranny, and not a single person as regarded by the movie, which sort of justifies
flecks fate in the climax as he fails to deliver on his promise to his lover a nd a larger audience waiting for him outside the courtroom. But it certainly didn't go well with the Joker fan base as evidenced by the dismal box office numbers. It however doesn't detract from the movie's intent to delve deep into the complex yet fragile mind of Arthur Fleck and it's machinations.
