This movie is hot ASS! I have a hard time understanding how people are giving this more than 3 stars. Yes, visually it did some great things. BUT it was boring from the get go with one redeeming scene when Thomas enters the castle and cuts himself with the knife and we see Orlok’s eyes light up at the sight of blood. The hype surrounding this movie gave me a sliver of hope until the very end, but I was left disappointed with an ending that made everyone around me at the theatre audibly say “that was disappointing and/or awful”. Don’t waste your money seeing it in theatre. Wait until it’s out at home so you can throw on some subtitles and/or drink your way through it
