I, for one, am very glad Jill exposed all of the behind the scenes manipulation, and basically evil control her father subjected her and her siblings along with Michelle to. He takes scripture out of context and twists it to his benefit using Bill Gothard's methods of control. My husband and I early in our marriage went to one (or maybe two...I can't accurately remember) of Gothard's seminars and I distinctly remember at the end they passed out this 'paper' which they wanted you to sign promising to follow all of these types of rules and stuff. We felt extremely uncomfortable with that and NEVER signed. I guess my discernment had kicked in full-time and helped us avoid this evil cult. Thank you Jill, for your courage in writing and exposing this cult and the damages they reek within families!
