This was a reasonably accurate portrayal of everyday 'accepted' domestic abuse ..where jealousy and unacceptable behaviors are misinterpreted as love, where compassion for one person's emotional trauma becomes the 'stick' for someone else .. in this movie the abused was strong enough to walk away which is most often not reality
