Disappointed in Megan's comments today related to immigration. Her buy-in to the idea that undocumented workers come and "take our jobs" is as erroneous as one can be and only serves to reinforce the series of falsehoods being perpetuated on and about immigration. Somebody tell and/or show me the tutorial (Google, You Tube) on how non-english speaking, undocumented persons can TAKE jobs from US citizens. There are a lot of unemployed Americans that could use that information. Jobs are not taken; jobs are given and earned. If these people (and its time we treat them as such) are deemed to have done something illegal, then so have the employers who GAVE them the jobs. There should not be an ICE raid that does not include the arrest and prosecution of the employer responsible for hiring them, which is the real crime.
