This wasn't bad. The movie tried to make an
x-men marvel type movie and mix it with horror. It succeeded in the most part as it can be difficult to combine these 2 genres into a plot. The only problem is thqt the movie lost the plot at times by seemingly attempting to add more than just the 2 above mentioned genres in the mix, wanting to adress unnecessary teenage romances, puberty and so forth (this and overcoming fear seems to be the movie theme instead of marvel superhero theme). There was a lot of teen drama but a lack of action and combat that most marvel movies are made of and therefore I found that the near end and ending of the movie was more captivating than the rest of the movie. In my opinion this movie should be on netflix as the "feel" of the movie fits that of traditional netflix marvel series' than that of traditional action packed marvel movie such as x-men, the avengers, etc. The ending was good and not anticlimatic as I've heard some make it out to be.
