Predictable, cheesy, writing was dull and dragged on (especially the way the author wrote out every mundane tasks the characters did into full paragraphs). The only "thriller" aspect of this book was the awful, horrendous torture porn. Truly not understanding the hype around this book. I was waiting for the "unimaginable" plot twists and found none. *****Spoiler***** I think the thing that irked me the most was Claire falling asleep at the hotel, waking up and getting something to eat while she knew Lydia was being tortured. How are you not frantically running around to find her??
