This show just uses the goosebumps monsters for its zotrytelling and context. But its basically just a high school drama tv.
You could probably remove the "goosebumps" from it and nothing would change. (Except for maybe the whole slappy plot). Its a mid show that captilizes on the goosebumps ip.
