You can cry about "cancel culture" and moan about 'good TV being disparaged by libtards', but it all boils down to this: If you possess the deeply Human trait of compassion you will likely not like this show. If you are dispossessed of this trait, you will likely enjoy it.

I love this show, especially now that they're actually finding lots of things and apparently 'on the mark' per the treasure pit's, until now, lost location, but the way they still pad the episodes from time to time with crackpots and their conspiracy theories about the treasure's origins, makes me fast-forward those parts. They ARE less included now that things are actually coming to fruition with their search, though. The sensationalistic way the the narrator presents information is annoying too, but I can overlook that, though others likely can't.

Though this series is more of a slow burn than BB was, the quality is equally on par in every significant way. Only consider skipping it if you have no patience at all with this type of storytelling and even then, give it a try anyhow!
