The prospect of watching a good, modern Dracula movie was almost too much. The movie is alright, for those easily entertained. Not bad from a technical, movie-making standpoint. It just could not fulfill the promise the trailer seemed to make. Dracula himself (the main draw for me to this movie, personally) was a supreme disappointment. Built up within the movie to be a terrible monster, by the climax of the film you just can't help but feel bad for Christopher Lee, Bela Lugosi and Brahm Stoker. The end of the movie just tears apart any goodwill the movie had established with the audience in the first two acts. A movie more interested in giving the audience eye candy rather than a good Dracula movie. Don't waste your time.
