It’s rather disappointing. Yeah they go with the story with the original Disneys “The Little Mermaid”; but the characters are so different! Number one: Ariel is white with red hair, not a black girl with red dyed hair. I’m not prejudiced, but why in the workplace did Disney go with a black girl, then dye her hair? Seriously Disney!! Okay for you naysayers: how would you like to recreate the Princess Frog with an oriental girl, a Latina girl, or a white girl—-it would throw people off. There are millions of talented young women in the world that would have made a better Ariel. Okay, yes the girl can sing, but still makes me upset to see Disney changed it around so much. Sabastian was okay—-okay so the original voice guy died, but don’t you think that Disney could have done a little better? Ursula should have at least died her hair black. 😕🫤🫤😑 Whatever, Disney. Do whatever you want to do. For this one, I give you a D-
