I honestly loved this game. However I'm giving it two stars because it felt more like a beta-version and was prone to glitch frequently. I went through all the trouble of uncovering a hidden treasure chest, but then it wouldn't let me open it. Also, there was a good chunk of time where I couldn't even access the menu/items list OR the map. Luckily I was at the very end and didn't necessarily need them, but I wanted to see how much dosh I'd ended with, so that was a bummer. It freezes a lot, too. There are problems with the audio. Some of my progress wouldn't save. I found the fight style to be annoying at first--don't even get me started on how finicky it could be to try and pick an action--you get used to it after a while, though. But, overall, I found it very entertaining. It was nice to have the original VAs and I loved that it was open-world, so I could basically do what I wanted without having to follow a strict script. The story was cute, too. But, it felt really short, but maybe that's just me. I even tried to draw it out by doing all the side-quests and encountering every battle I could. I managed to get all four characters up to level 10, saved all the candy kids, returned all the penguins, cleared all the sea trash, killed all the varmints, etc. And it still felt short -\(*_*)/-
In all, it's a fun game. I just wish it had been polished a bit more.
