Because of the reviews I had read thus far, I was prepared to be disappointed with the newest outlander book. I too have read the outlander series more then a few times. I waited impatiently for this book to be released. I have my favorites and Go tell the bees is now one of them.
I felt like I was catching up with old friends and observing everyday life during this time period. I was surprised with seeing a few characters return but impressed with how this author wove them into the story. I got a true feeling of what life was like during this war and how battles were fought. I saw love grow and deepen from so many within this book. I appreciate the research on authenticity and the time taken to bring truth to the Indians and their heritage.
Although I am not a real fan of William, I have grown to like him as I watch him struggle with who he is and as he slowly connects with his sister well, that brought tears to my eyes.
Well done
Well played
