I didn’t enjoy it. Hated all the characters and most of the narrative. Started well and was evocative. It suffered for me because too much thrown at it in the way of a ghost story, a psychological story or a thriller. Her prose on grief later in the book was very touching. There was slight twist at the end but, frankly a watery one.
