It could have been a fun coming-of-age movie, but the mediocre plot, poor character development, subpar animation, and inappropriate content for young kids all made it fall flat. I watched this with my two little kids and I regret it. This is not what I've come to expect from Pixar and not something I intend to watch with my family again. For me it was boring; for my kids it was confusing and occasionally frightening.
