It could have been amazing. I've been waiting for Artemis Fowl to become a movie for so long and I have never been so disappointed. I give it two stars because visually it beautiful. It was so nice to see Fowl Manor and Haven! Just a shame about the story line and the character development! It's like they've taken the very basics of the original story and made up their own story! I loved Artemis as a young criminal genius that has no interest in being a normal kid. But the film portrays him as a kid, who puts on a suit and suddenly he's a criminal genius?? I then suddenly he's friends with a faerie? I feel like maybe I slept through some important parts but nope I didn't!
