It's about time to publish a real history of native people of Canada. Many years ago, I read Excerpts from Mi'kmaw History, "THE OLD MAN TOLD US" by Ruth Holmes Whitehead. Unfortunately, our daughters, have newer been exposed to Canadian history written by natieve authors. We, the imigrants from the white settler groups will never understand what the colonizing powers did to the natieves.
