This is a great movie if you have true biblical understanding, there was creative licensing involved but there is some truth as the imaging illustrates the people of that time and geographical area were indeed black and the whites depicted as the Romans which were the oppressors in that period is also true. It is biblical also that Jesus was and is in fact a black man as explained in Revelation 1:14 KJV so were the disciples, and it is true that Thomas did have a twin brother but after that it goes off the path of truth and strictly becomes entertainment. I only wish that they would have had Jesus with white hair as oppose to black hair as described in the bible. The white Jesus was totally unnecessary as there is no truth biblically regarding that at all. Black Jesus ex-solving a so called white jesus would never have happened. We need to see ourselves as we are the people of the bible but the white washing with Caesar Borgia as jesus has condition the world to believe the lie that Jesus was a white man.
