Very disappointing. Season 1 was okay. Season 2 is terrible at best. I am a long time Star Trek Next Generation fan. Just the language alone is ridiculous. Have heard GD used multiple times in season 2 and some in season 1, never once said in STNG. The Ice customs people who actually help keep or country safe are condemned in this show. Many of whom have mexican backgrounds and just want to help keep people from harm. The issue is not so much people from Latin America that are the issue it's people who come from other backgrounds that threaten America. Like most media this show is villifying America instead of the countries where if you cross into their border you are killed, held hostage for money, used as a human slave, etc. A country has to have sovereignty (control of its borders) or it is no longer a country. Left politicians just use these people like everyone else. And this country has given more care to the world's people than any nation in history, and we have provided asylum for tens of millions who care more about this country than the LA Times, New York Times, Washington Post, NBC, ABC, CNN, and obviously now CBS with this shallow piece of work in Picard. Oh and how you going to have Data shut off. This show is in violation for breach of Data's treatment, I know Spiner mentioned he was getting too old to look the part but it was dishonoring at best, Worf would not approve. Moreover, this show is violating the prime directive of staying out of American politics or worse being too ignorant about American politics. Dear, Socialists please find a hobby other than ruining our television and lives, and creating division which will ultimately destroy you as well.
