Brent Thompson

Excellent depiction of the middle, late 1950s and early 1960s. Since I grew up at this time, it was interesting to see the styles, cars and "Hawaiian Eye" TV shot from 1959/1960 or so.

I still think it is one of the best movies I've ever seen. It should've won the Oscar. It is also probably the most lavishly beautiful film I've ever seen. One thing about it, you will never see a film that had that much work and effort ever again. A movie that stays with you due to shear size and length. When it was over, I felt as though l had lived their lifetime. That's hard to do and really isn't done anymore.
