This one is a must read for fantasy nerds.It is a very unusual book. Difficult to get into it in the beginning but after reading a few chapters patiently and grasping the summary of first few chapters from fandom wiki , you get sucked into it. Story from many number of characters point of view is shown in each chapter. There are so many twists and turns. The many subplots constantly collide resulting in nerve cracking drama and mystery. The Magic system , the world building , the richly constructed history, so many characters and the wide scope of the plot makes it an ABSOLUTE EPIC ! . The best thing about this book is it's prose which is very beautiful. On the negative side , there is no versatality in characterization. on the whole , I would definatly recommend reading this book.

This movie has lies and truths mixed in it. I don't think this movie is a propaganda. I do think what happened to Shalini and her friends was real but I refuse to believe that 32,000 Hindu and Christian girls were converted to Islam and forced to work for ISIS. The Observer Research Foundation notes that around 60 to 70 individuals has joined ISIS from kerala between 2014 and 2018. The US department of state in its 2020 report on terrorism had documented that there were a total of sixty six individuals from India who were affiliated to the ISIS at that time. The numbers may be more but definately not 32,000. Why put false statistics with no reliability in the movie and oversize the magnitude of the problem and decrease the quality of your movie ? This movie is not Islamophobic like most of the muslims are feeling. The movie shows the extreme mentality of ISIS workers and how they use religion for cruelty but does not show negativity on Islam as a whole. This movie attacks ISIS and ISIS only. But none the less you will have negative feelings for Islam whether intended or not by the filmmakers, so you need to be careful from what you are getting from this movie. Tecnically speaking, this movie has a great screenplay, good cinematography, good direction, brilliant performance by adah sharma. The emotions are real, the feelings are real. But, some of the scenes are so unrealistic and laugh worthy. On the whole, This movie is not as great as most of the people are saying giving it 5 stars neither is this movie as bad some one starrers are saying. Must watch? yes. It makes us feel the excruciating life of the convertees. Nobody deserves such life. But, don't believe everything you see in this movie. Be highly cautious and critical while you watch the movie.
