Friends I wanted to like it, I didnt. Another false narrative for the sole purpose of creating more division in Western society.

Just finished part 1. I normally never do movie reviews, and rarely read reviews, especially of late, since it seems if it isn’t ridiculously “Woke” then it is given bad ratings, and that is for the 1% who actually watch the movie. Audience reviews are typically only ones I will read. Im doing writing this, because it was a very good movie, in the top 5 for me in the last 3-4 years. I love Zack Snyders movie making especially when he is allowed to do his thing. I read a review on Reddit right after I watched part 1, and they trashed it. Most likely, they never watched it, and trying to show off to their buddies that they can troll a movie review. Why people think this is a rip off of Star Wars is beyond me. Outside of it being in future technology and universe size landscape of multiple planets, it doesnt resemble Star Wars or any other Sci Fi movie I have seen. If you are one who like movies with a bunch of corny jokes situations, this isnt for you. If you like a gritty, and a unexpected Sci Fi movie, this is 100% for you. I cant wait for the Snyder Cut, with what I expect to be a lot more edgier and prob more graphic during the violence. If you loved Snyders Cut of the Justice League, you will probably will like his cut for this movie, as he pretty much has his hand it every aspect of this movie, from writing, producing and Directing.

Miserable. Was kinda of intrigued at beginning then when I saw a old guy wearing Staff SGT rank being in charge, was off, but worse while wearing Staff Sgt rank on his sleeve he was also wearing 3 star General rank on his collar. After that it went downhill. First movie in very long time I turned off after getting half way through.

One of my all time favorite Martial Art action movies. Michael Jai White best movie in my opinion. It is a fairly simple movie, you dont need to overthink it. Some great actors, and other martial art legends.
