The actors all do an admirable job with a generally poor script. So many of the events that occur in the first three episodes directly contradict events of the original trilogy. Reva's character also feels rushed, although very believable for what we know of the Sith. The actress does a fine job with what she is given. Leia and the young actress that portrays her are in a similar position: well executed but very questionable from a story perspective. There is no indication in a New Hope that Obi-Wan and Leia had ever met, and in fact, the language used there heavily implies that they didn't spend a week on a rescue roadtrip together, yet the writers seem to have jammed that in.
At every turn there is a new continuity error with A New Hope. I wonder if the execs just threw a bunch of mandates at the writers and nobody had bothered to do an edit pass on the scripts.
