This is by far the worst star ocean I've played. Towns are completely void of people to talk to. Can't go in almost any house. World map is filled with invisible barriers keeping you from going pretty much anywhere off the direct path. Battle system is pretty harsh with very few options to control what your party is doing. You can basically have them attack who you are attacking or just attack randomly. That's it. The bad graphics I'm ok with. I'm old school so that doesn't really matter to me but everything else has got to be on point and this just doesn't do that. It has some decent story and characters and there are many of the star ocean elements I enjoy, but there are just way too many issues for me to suggest this to anyone...even hardcore star ocean fans such as myself.
