A trip down memory lane of the 1990s. I love seeing the African influence in the clothing and set design, and watching the cast members and their special guests in the early years of their careers. It’s amazing to see the evolution of our communication modes before the internet (wall phones, newspapers, magazines, and a wonky laptop). Most of all, I enjoy the insightful storylines of the young African American friends. Timeless messages and welcome comedic relief on any day.

I love the in-depth look at the affect of racism on multiple layers - unaddressed trauma on current and future generations, employment limitations, education discrimination and a predatory housing market.
