I loved this game. I did not grow up with it, so I don't have a nostalgic bias. But honestly, this game exceeded my expectations. There's a lot to do and play in it even though some small portions are just the same thing but with a different character. And of course, it's glitchy sometimes, but *considering* that they weren't able to finish it to its full potential, it makes the game quite impressive. I do love adventure type games more than 1st-person shooter or puzzle games, so if you like adventurous video games too, this is a great one. It has an interesting plot that does have some holes, but again, it was unfinished. I won't make this review too long, but I'll say what matters most here. This game was fun, and that's a game's purpose. No it wasn't perfect, but its imperfectness gave it a personal touch. And also, I was inspired by this game's spirit, the character's attitudes. Oh! I almost forgot one of the best parts! The soundtrack is one of the best I've heard in a videogame. I strongly recommend experiencing this for yourself if you can. It's great once you get the hang of it.
Edit: There is one scene I'm pretty sure everyone hated where Sonic gets kissed. I'll leave it at that.
