It definitely suffers for the time it came out and i saw this movie the first time on a weekend with my grandad in the late 90's and couldn't sleep the rest of the night but mainly due to my age and the giant bay window in the living room of which i had to sleep. It's definitely worth a watch. Michael Ironside is a bonus and of course Corey Haim. A funny appearance by a pre-beverly hills game Jason Preisly. The story and execution is somewhat sophomoric however some themes are still relevant today. I'd say it's better than most the major Hollywood releases of not only today but the last 10 years. I don't know why the first guy hated it so much in the reviews, i guess it just wasn't his thing. It's not bad. Give it a chance before it's lost to time.
