After watching JW1 &2, did not enjoy this in the least. The script probably had 15 lines, overly long action sequences, characters that had no development or deepened awareness. And JW's basic character (as a human being) seemed to have a large departure from the other 2.
I liked that JW seemed to be a very earnest sincere man that had his morals and seemed to follow them, despite the violence. His main decision in the film moved away from that basic sensibility I thought he had, for a reason that genuinely made me wonder if he actually had serious problems in his thinking, because it made no logical sense from the JW1 and JW2 I know.
I blame Derek collaborating on this one, unless he somehow forgot himself. Finally, the ending was implausible. There's no way a human being could have survived that without major physical issues. Was disappointed and not sure I'll continue in the franchise.
