Out of every game I've ever played, no game brings me the fondest memories more than this one. Not only was Call of Duty Black Ops II WAY ahead of its time, but every single aspect from the game modes to the graphics was FLAWLESS.
The multiplayer was engaging with a competent matchmaking system and well designed maps with high replay-ability. New content updates kept the community hooked in resulting in an active player base.
The campaign was an original story with a unique villain and well thought out plot. Each stage of the campaign felt like a breathe of fresh air with how different the maps were from one another (So much so that many of these maps became Multiplayer maps!)
And the zombies... Well, let's just say that it completely reinvented the entire genre. Buried, Origins, Mob of the Dead, Die Rise, and TranZit? All absolute masterpieces of game design and story telling.
Greatest. Game. Ever.
You just had to be there...
