This movie was phenomenal. It was raw, moving, powerful. It’s also terribly sad but left you hoping for some sort of triumph in the end. Based on the reviews I expected trash and I’m glad we decided to watch anyway. The acting is terrific.. it does have a weirdness about it that some people might not “get” or enjoy. It’s an Indy film and it has that vibe and sometimes I don’t “get” it either but I’m still trying to get my mouth to close after this one. 5 stars easy.
