Great movie by Farhan Akhtar and team. The war sequences are far far superior. Added this movie to my "Must Watch" list of movies by every Indian.

I think we should make more such movies. Actors are par excellence. Engaging story, nice cinematography and superb direction.

Finally, a movie on much deserved subject,that of exodus of Kashmiri pandits from a sensitive filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra!

The film was in real sense, "the most powerful film" with a strong and solid screenplay.The kind of maturity in treating a subject which we see these days , has its roots way back in 1989 , i.e. this cult classic movie. Vidhu Vinod proved that a Director is really "the captain of a ship called cinema" Binod Pradhan's low key lighting to create a painting-like images had a tremendous impact and Renu Saluja's slick editing created a benchmark in this domain. In all, it's a never forgetting experience for a true cinema lover. Kudos to the entire crew!

The writer and director have summed up the essence in one scene..In the hospital where Kanji Mehta meets up The God. This one scene provides answer to all the questions that one may have about existence of the God. This is the last good film I have seen in Hindi.
