Terrible. If you thought Fifty Shades of Grey was meaningful literature/ filmmaking, then you might like this also but for anyone seeking something beyond cliches and hackneyed storylines, look elsewhere. This is no Notebook.

I don't understand the high reviews. I was fast-forwarding all the way through. You'd think a miniseries about a hurricane, flooding, looting, rioting, and mass casualties would make for riveting and compelling TV. Instead it was just five episodes of hospital staff talking to each other, trying to call loved ones, and anxiously worrying without being able to do anything about it. Hard pass.

Incredible! I remember hearing about this on the news a few years back but I never comprehended the risk and danger that the rescue demanded. Well done to the director for staying true to such a culturally sensitive moment in history. Movie was emotional, humanistic, and compelling. BRAVO!
