This movie is something special. After a drought of good films from both, this was a well needed sigh of relief for Disney and Pixar. Firstly, the plot was pretty good, i did feel like the movie dragged just a tiny bit in the middle, but made up for it in the beginning and end. The animation is astounding like always, pixar always lives up to expectation regarding animation, but I loved seeing the vibrance of colors and the detail in each scene, inside or outside the mind. The voice acting is perfect. Each character seems so believable and the voice actors really delivered when it mattered most. Now my personal favorite topic, the freaking score. Andrea datzman truly did an outstanding job on the music. It excels when put behind an already incredible movie, and not only supporting the emotion showed on screen, but matching it in the score. major props to her. Overall, this movie is sublime and I’m definitely watching this multiple times when it comes out on Disney+. Keep making movies like this Disney!!!

OH MY GOODNESS THIS MOVIE!!!!! Lets start off with the plot (which has been the most controversial). The pacing of the story is (in my opinion) perfect, nothing moves too quickly or too slowly (maybe a bit too slow in the beginning but its still fine. The animation is spot-on PERFECTION, from the drop of water from the faucet to the lava in Bowser’s castle, its looks amazing. The colors are not too in-your-face like Trolls, but digestible. The characters and voices were great too, I think they all fit perfectly into the story. Now, the music… PHENOMENAL!!!! I can’t get enough of the constant nods to old tunes. Each score for each scene just makes the scene better, and I could only listen to the soundtrack and be completely happy. Overall: Plot/Story: 8/10 Animation: 11/10 Characters: 9/10 Score: 100/10 This movie is an easy 5/5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
