The splicing was weird and made the pacing awkward. The jokes felt mostly flat. The acting was subpar. And even the practical effects looked cheap and corny. With better editing and only one out of three or four storylines prioritized, this would’ve made for a much better film. It was an entertaining movie but not worthy of the big screen. More like a Sunday afternoon feature while you’re folding clothes or something.
