Fabulous book, loved the setting, humor, and characters. My only serious complaint was the trope consistent with an Abrahamic religious perspective that the "pagans" have good guys and bad guys backwards. Besides that, albeit minor, annoyance, I found the main character compelling. Without divulging any major plot points, his constant struggle with uncertainty and imposter syndrome felt very real and believable, and the way he overcame these issues was satisfying.
