The film tactfully shows the less known aspects of Indira..mysterious, ambitious, powerful, yet vulnerable!! Kangana excellently portrayed such emotions with her eyes, facial expressions and her body language. The dynamic personality of Indira was overshadowed by Kangana's vulnerable characterization and most of Indira's negative aspects were highlighted, since the film was about Emergency. Of course it would be difficult for todays Congressis to swallow those real facts. But it is good for the todays generation to know about the Real Indira, seen from the eyes of her best friend Pupul Jaikar.
