Although I usually disppointed by the film rendition of a broadway musicals this one exceded my expectations. Erivo and Grande give excellent performances and the direction, look and pace of the film are superb. For me, this film ranks up there with Little Shop of Horrors, Chicago and the 1964 version of Mary Poppins
