Originally starting out as a “Six Sigma”-styled type of Engineering failure analysis, as to why deaf infants & toddlers who received cochlear implants had such a disparity in outcomes, I now find out that it has expanded to all kids. As we know from deaf ed is that hearing leads to speech, speech leads to language, and language leads to literacy.
