I've read people comparing Diablo to WoW and also saying that you need modded gear to get to GR150. Not only is this an ARPG, it is also not a game that requires cheating in anyway. Find a class you enjoy, get a set that matches your playstyle, funny enough, seasons offer a free set once you complete the challenges. This will push you into GR50 and allow you to farm GR's until you find the same gear with better stats or different gear all together. I've played Diablo for the majority of my life and D3 offers a simplicity that can't be found in other games and challenging you if you want to get to that next level. Kanai's Cube offers a ton of great features that open up your playstyle options and help you push for those higher tiers using all the materials you collect. Don't settle for low difficulties, the higher the better. You get more crafting mats from bounties, deaths breath, etc. If you're new, now that D4 is coming, just dive in and experience the lore and richness that this series has to offer. Most of all enjoy the game in your own way but don't be afraid to look at guides/buids to help you understand mechanics and what stats you need. There is a plethora of information so use it. Most importantly, stay a while and slay!
