As someone who twice attempted suicide and am still falling into long periods of deep depression, I think this movie is hard for most people to watch because it evokes the flat, dark nothingness that we who suffer feel constantly. Imagine living in this movie. I want my family to see it so they might know what hell feels like. It feels like this movie. Hard to watch but harder to live there. For me it hit the mark. I knew exactly what he decided and when. Any suicidal person would.
