Loved it! Much darker than all the other Batman films, but the performances are amazing. What a great cast. Robert Pattinson manages to give a gravitas to the character that is smoldering, deep and touching, a bit more Robert Smith of The Cure than sauve and slick. Colin Farrell is unrecognisable as The Penguin, magnificently cunning and mad, with a great NY accent. All the performances are top notch, career making/enhancing delights, dipped in pain. It's also riveting, from start to finish. It takes the cartoonish out of the franchise and gives an eerily more realistic atmosphere that is quite unnerving. Brilliant ! Kudos to the Director, Matt Reeves. 💚
