I missed the first 2 episodes and only came upon ep3 by chance. I don't watch much TV but on a rainy Saturday, I thought I'd see what was on offer. The commercial channels are no-go for me so when i happened upon First Day , I thought I'd give it 5minutes. After I'd caught the gist of the show, I was intrigued. Episode 3 Saturday and episode 4 Sunday . It's still raining. I didn't realise until just now that Evie McDonald is the real deal as Hannah. What a beaut she is. Such a great actor and ambassador. I hadn't heard of transgender until a few years ago. I wonder, now, how many of the kids back when I was at school, were going through this situation and were just ostracised. Quite a few I imagine. The 1950's was not an enlightened decade. I am enjoying the show as entertainment but enlightenment these days is always a good thing. Thank you for furthering my education
