I have never seen a series so sophisticated yet so horrendously real when it comes to realities of crimes. There were no glamour or romance to force the story along. Just pure human emotions; hurt, agony, hope and a sense of of urgency when it comes to youth and their upbringings. This series is the best crime series I have ever seen. The depth they were willing to go to into each case's culprit and victim's back stories made it so real. It's rare to see a show where the morals and characters are not just black and white, each 'evil' character has once been a victim; and each victim can go on to let their hurt take over their judgements. I have never cried so much for a series but this show is the best in the way that it touched my heart and showed a very honest portrayal of how cruel the world can be.
