Started reasonably well and just became so ridiculous and implausible I didn't even finish the first series. I also have to comment on the review left by John Doe. Your review is almost as long and tedious as this dismal series. Why the spoiler alert? People automatically continue reading. A bit like excusing yourself for punching someone in the face because you warned them you were about to punch them in the face.

Unmitigated nonsense. Trying to be profound and meaningful and failing miserably. Everyone involved in this ridiculous film should be embarrassed.

A mediocre movie propped up by Jake Gyllenhaals performance. Connor McGregor is a terrible actor even playing a caricature of himself he's not convincing. Not even close to the original.

An absolute stinker of a movie!

I have spent every spare minute watching this series since I found it. Some of the legal intricacies are lost on me (I'm in Scotland) but that aside I loved this series. The characters are complex and as in real life rarely all good or bad. It's a seductive mix that drags you so far in that it's hard not to feel involved. All the actors are great and perfectly cast but I must say Kelly Reilly is just absolutely superb in her role as Beth. Truly one of the greatest pieces of on-screen acting I've seen.

Very underrated movie. Everything a good film should be.

When presenters start talking about fiat financing their costs by buying Russian steel thus explaining poor build quality I genuinely feel angry. Firstly it's simply not true (the problem was in manufacturing) secondly why propogate horrible political stereotypes through light entertainment by making generalisations that others feed off. I try to avoid making judgements on people I've not actually met but Drew makes my blood curdle. An exceptionally unlikeable and sleazy little man.

I think I've watched every episode and I've thoroughly enjoyed them. However the corners cut in some rebuilds are obvious to most decent mechanics, Elvis seems to step the game up but let's be realistic, most of which they claim to do at a price is unattainable and the things they should do is largely ignored. Just another reality TV show that really isn't reality.

Simply beautiful. Some things are just to be enjoyed without overthinking.
