Every now and then, I'm surprised by the music that hits me and decides to crawl into my head and stay there. If you made a list of Andre's influences for this New Blue Sun, I'd wager I'd recognize exactly zero of them, yet I found the album instantly recognizable and accessible, even inviting. For a while, I listened to it multiple times a day for days in a row. I cant remember the last time I did that with a record, and I've never done it with a record like this. Worth your time.
