This book takes the concepts from the very basic and explains them in ample detail. it includes not only the necessary math required, but also the physical understanding of the subject. The very basic example would be the explaination of the need for frequency spectrum for analysis, which many other books fail to explain and provide only the maths required in form of fourier series explanation. this can be read in the very first chapter.
overall the book is amazingly lucid and has a lot of solved and unsolved examples to demonstrate the theory which makes it a bit voluminous but it would not take you much time to finish.
