The only same con this film shares with the previously released version is that indeed it's a little beefy on the run time, but this time around its filled with actual story and character development and not disjointed segments which seem flung together by a direct who didn't care (oh wait). No doubt in my mind that this will be recognised as a masterpiece whether now, 5, 10 or 50 years. A poignant tribute to his daughter of which there is no doubt she would have been immensely proud and blown away, like we all have been. No DC or MCU film has impacted me like this & in my opinion this is the best ever comic to live action film ever conceived. Staggeringly beautiful work. The best of the best.
